Some people prefer to use online printing, and many company’s have excellent reviews and very satisfied customers. Printing at home is always an option if you have the facilities, this is a great way to oversee every aspect of printing.
Use the right paper
Your paper is one of the most important factors in producing a high quality print, in some cases this simple part of the printing process can be more important than the type of printer you use. Standard paper or regular card-stock is a quick option if you have no other options, but you should really use “photo” or “fine art” paper. These papers have a special coating on them that will prevent the ink from soaking through the paper, resulting in brighter more accurate print.
Printers and ink
You can get great results from many models and brands of printers, here at Instant Printable we use a Canon printer. The most popular brand of printer for artists is Epson, the “Stylus Photo” models are very popular. These printers are used by photographers and are renowned for their high print quality and printing endurance. Some research and review reading will help you find a printer that will work within your budget and needs.
Your print is never going to look exactly like what you see on your screen. This is because you translating light from your monitor into pigment on paper. Every computer monitor is different, and your painting could easily change colors from one machine to the next.
